New Online Tool Designed to Help with LEED Calculations

March 23, 2009

To help architects, interior designers and other specifiers save time on their next sustainable project, Armstrong Ceilings has introduced the Green Genie™, a new interactive, product evaluation Web tool that allows users to find sustainable ceiling options and LEED® credit information quickly and easily.

The fast, easy-to-use online tool offers 24/7 access of LEED credit information at the design or submittal process, and provides users with the ability to research, calculate and document which Armstrong ceiling product best meets the environmental criteria of their project.

All Armstrong ceiling, suspension and wall system products are included in the rating system. The design aide even completes the submittal process by producing a LEED documentation letter for inclusion in the specification.

Helpful, Easy-to-Access Design Aide
“This resource was developed to provide an easy-to-access tool that can be used by our customers to not only identify environmentally sensitive products that meet their needs, but also to calculate the contribution of those products toward LEED credits,” states Joann Davis Brayman, vice president of marketing for commercial ceilings.
