Steelcase Launches New Web Site

April 13, 2009

Steelcase recently launched, Come Together, a new Web site that describes the changing landscape of work and the latest design trends for the office environment. Additionally, the site illustrates how Steelcase insights relate to products and offer solutions to companies seeking to enhance collaboration in the workplace or manage their space in the current economy.

Steelcase.com/cometogether provides an interactive experience of the office environment for architects, designers, and customers. Rather than simply displaying products, the Web site is very visual—browsers navigate in ways that are supportive of how designers work and how people want to interact with the Web.

Key features of the site include:

  • The Product Experience: Celebrates the new products through downloadable photography, feature and benefit callouts, design videos, isometric views, thought starters, and downloadable brochures. The pages provide key insights in a simple way while placing emphasis on the importance of design.
  • The Connected Workplace: Shares the key trends in today’s workplace, new research on the four states of work from The WorkSpace Futures Team at Steelcase and insights uncovered through years of research.
  • The Floor Plan: Shows how research and insights translate into solutions. It also includes 3-D views of each floor plan along with the economics of the space which compares the new product against traditional product in reference to dollars per person, square foot per person and more.

The Web site was designed to truly demonstrate how Steelcase’s new innovations “come together” to support collaborative work and a connected workplace. For more information, visit www.steelcase.com.
