LEO A DALY Establishes Scholarship at UNLV

LAS VEGAS — International architecture, planning, engineering, interior design, and program management firm LEO A DALY recently announced the establishment of the Leo A. Daly Scholarship Fund for the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). 

The scholarship will give preference to Native American students who wish to pursue careers in the hotel and gaming industry. It is designed to help develop the next generation of leaders in the Tribal gaming industry. The award will take place for the fall semester of 2009.   

UNLV is a comprehensive research university of approximately 28,000 students. The internationally recognized William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration currently has nearly 2,800 students enrolled in various undergraduate and graduate programs such as lodging, food and beverage, meetings and events, professional golf, and gaming management.

Chairman and CEO Leo A. Daly III, FAIA, is an enthusiastic supporter of the Native American community, and has recently given the keynote address at the sixth annual Construction in Indian Country Conference. LEO A DALY has been privileged to work within the Native American community for nearly 20 years. The firm has assisted 30 Tribes with various economic endeavors, and has completed more than 40 projects on sovereign lands.
