Training for Green Purchasing Now Available Online

June 8, 2009

In the highly-competitive market for green building projects, we all need to avail ourselves of opportunities for professional advancement. To help, The Green Standard is offering accreditation in green purchasing that provides architects and interior designers the opportunity to gain a clear advantage in working with federal, state and local governmental agencies, as well as the private sector.

Bradley Nies, director of elements for BNIM Architects, has commenced the training and rates it excellent. “The expert instructors of The Green Standard’s Green Purchasing AP program provide a clear set of processes and new tools to elevate the sustainability of your project and operations,” he says.

In six online anytime modules, you can learn about best practices globally in green procurement and learn to use science-based tools to measure the economic, environmental and social justice impacts of products being considered for purchase.
