Dauphin Announces Breast Cancer Awareness Chair

June 22, 2009

Dauphin has officially joined forces with the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to help in the fight against Breast Cancer.

Stuart Rogers-Brown, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Dauphin recently presented Janelle Hail, founder and CEO of the NBCF, with a check to solidify its commitment. Along with an initial monetary donation, Dauphin pledges to create a limited-edition Conte chair and donate the proceeds of this chair to the NBCF.

The adaptable, fully-upholstered leather Conte chair offers something for everyone and is available in three colors—white, brown and pink—which complement the leather’s textured pattern. The special edition chairs feature both a polished metal finish as well as the black option; fully adjustable arms and an embroidered breast cancer awareness ribbon on the backrest complete the chair.

Dauphin has had a long-standing involvement in breast cancer research. Prior to Dauphin’s relationship with NBCF and the Conte program, Dauphin worked with the Common Thread for the Cure Foundation and its Tour 4 The Cure Foundation.

The NBCF extends women's lives through education about breast cancer and early detection and provides hope to women and families affected by breast cancer through a community of caring support and encouragement. NBCF also provides mammograms for those in need and enables those diagnosed with breast cancer to have fulfilling lives during their treatment and afterward.

Breast Cancer is a cause close to Dauphin’s heart as employees, their families and friends have been affected by this disease. Dauphin views this promotion as a social responsibility and hopes that the limited-edition Breast Cancer Awareness Conte chair will help provide resources for those in need through the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
