Dauphin Announces Breast Cancer Awareness Program

Oct. 26, 2009

Dauphin North America announces its Breast Cancer Awareness Program, with a special edition Conte chair now available in three limited-edition colors and an exclusive crocodile embossed leather. This special promotion has been designed specifically to raise funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

This special edition Conte chair is fully upholstered in either, pink, white or brown leather with an embossed crocodile texture and features an embroidered breast cancer awareness ribbon on the back headrest. A percentage of the proceeds for these chairs will be donated to the NBCF (National Breast Cancer Foundation Inc.).

The Conte chair offers superb design and comfort down to the last detail. It features a polished metal base, self adjusting arms and an automatic self-adjusting mechanism, which has become a sought-after feature from Dauphin.

Originally introduced in 2008, Conte is also available in durable knit upholstery and has been embraced by the design community for both its looks and unparalleled comfort. With its automatic body weight adjustment feature and seat tilting mechanism, the chair itself ensures the perfect fit for every user. Conte’s seat and backrest follow your every move and the seat inclination adjusts the pelvis keeping the body in motion so symptoms of fatigue are quickly pre-empted.

Breast Cancer is a cause close to Dauphin’s heart as employees, their families and friends have been affected by this disease. Dauphin views this promotion as a social responsibility and hopes that the limited-edition Breast Cancer Awareness Conte chair will help provide resources for those in need through the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

The National Breast Cancer Foundation extends women's lives through education about breast cancer and early detection and provides hope to women and families affected by breast cancer through a community of caring support and encouragement. NBCF also provides mammograms for those in need and enables those diagnosed with breast cancer to have fulfilling lives during their treatment and afterward. Dauphin has had a long-standing involvement in breast cancer research.  In addition to the Conte Breast Cancer program for NBCF, Dauphin has been participating in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure nationwide and working with the Common Thread for the Cure Foundation and their Tour 4 The Cure Foundation. Dauphin will be exhibiting at the upcoming NeoCon East in booths 1949 & 1851. Visit www.dauphin.com for more information.
