Retailers Head to New York for NADI

NEW YORK – America's leading retail designers and visual merchandisers will gather in New York City this month to preview the newest store design trends, tour the city's new retail concepts and honor promising design students.

NADI's Retail Design Collective takes place December 9-11 at 7 W New York, 7 W. 34th St., and major showrooms throughout the city. With 31 showrooms and conference sponsors, this year's event is the largest yet.

Special events during Retail Design Collective will include the PAVE Gala, a fund-raiser benefiting retail design students, scheduled for December 9 at Metropolitan Pavilion.

Conference sessions focusing on visual merchandising and store design trends will feature leading retailers, including Christine Belich of Sony Style; Paul Olszewski of Macy's; Tom Beebe of Paul Stuart; William Herbst and Julio Gomez of Saks Fifth Avenue; Paul Baglio of Calypso St. Barth; Lauren Shaw of Louis Vuitton North America; Jane Shea of Barnes and Noble; and Susannah Hubner of Mackenzie Childs.

The conferences are presented by show media partners VMSD and DDI, as well as the New York chapter of Retail Design Institute.
