TRO Jung|Brannen to Join AIA’s 2030

April 2, 2010

BOSTON – TRO Jung|Brannen, a leading international architecture, engineering, interior design and master planning firm has signed on to the American Institute of Architects’ (AIA) 2030 commitment program and its goal of designing carbon-neutral buildings by the year 2030.

Boston-based TRO Jung|Brannen understands the need to exercise leadership in creating the built environment. The firm believes it must alter the profession's practices and encourage its clients and the entire design and construction industry to join it and change the course of the planet's future.

A multi-year effort will be required to alter current design and construction practices and to realize significant reductions in the use of natural resources, non-renewable energy sources and waste production, and to promote the regeneration of natural resources.

“We have long been recognized as a leader in sustainable design and pledge to continue to implement green design throughout our practice,” says Robert Hoye, CEO of TRO Jung|Brannen.
