MIAMI—Hospitality furniture suppliers Blue Leaf Hospitality and Coast to Coast Designs have officially partnered to form BLUECOAST. This partnership unites two of the industry’s major players, providing each with a strong global platform to serve the hospitality market.
Blue Leaf Hospitality president Stan Shockley and Coast to Coast Designs Founder Doug Olson, industry friends and Miami neighbors, had two complementary business models that focused on delivering excellence in service, design quality and craftsmanship to four- and five-star hotels worldwide. With 75 percent of Blue Leaf’s sales concentrated in seating and upholstery, and 75 percent of Coast to Coast Designs’ in casegoods production, this partnership creates a unified front, doubling their global network of vendors and dedicated sales force.
The company was officially unveiled at Boutique Design New York this month. “This show continuously attracts a solid industry audience,” says Shockley, “giving us a platform among peers to introduce the new partnership between Blue Leaf and Coast to Coast to the hospitality industry and companies we have worked alongside for the last decade.”
Headquartered in Miami, Fla. with offices in Indonesia and Vietnam, BLUECOAST manufactures high-quality furnishings for clients, offering both standard and fully customizable product solutions that range from traditional carved seating and custom casegoods to contemporary outdoor collections. As industry veterans, Shockley and Olson have served clients including Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Wyndham, Marriott International, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Ritz Carlton and Mandarin Oriental.
Future growth plans will include new product lines to be unveiled to the marketplace in 2013, an expanding sales force in South America and Asia, increased domestic production, as well as newly renovated corporate headquarters.
