POST FALLS, ID--Kimball Office's Post Falls, Idaho, facility recently donated $2,500 to Spokane, Washington-based Providence Health Care. The company is set to open its new Providence Medical Park-Spokane Valley this April and, through Kimball Office Select Dealer partner Contract Resource Group, also of Spokane, purchased product manufactured at the Post Falls facility.
The Kimball Office Post Falls facility is located just 10 minutes from the Providence Medical Park and the $2,500 was representative of the cost Providence would have paid in shipping fees alone, had it not chosen to use a local manufacturer.
In mid-January, Kimball Office invited Kathy Tarcon, chief operating officer of Providence Medical Group, and some of her Providence colleagues to tour the Post Falls facility and actually see some of their product during the manufacturing process. It was during this tour that Michele Lemelin, Post Fall’s director of operations, Brian Gerdes, Kimball Office’s director of sales, West, and Rick Schuhriemen, Kimball Office’s northwest region manager, presented Providence Health Care Foundation’s chief executive Joyce Cameron with the $2,500 check. According to Providence officials, the gift will be used to support more local initiatives, such as showcasing art created by talented Providence employees.
The Kimball Office Post Falls plant employs nearly 300 individuals from the Post Falls and Spokane Valley area.
