Louis Poulsen, iconic Danish manufacturer and designer of architectural grade lighting, announces plans to open the first U.S.-based showroom in Culver City, Calif., at the Helm’s Bakery District.
Louis Poulsen USA has signed a five-year lease agreement for the 2,900-square-foot showroom located in Studio E at the “to-the-trade-only” Helms Design Center space with Walter N. Marks, Inc. The showroom will feature a comprehensive selection of both indoor and outdoor lighting solutions for members of the trade community in architecture and design to experience the ambience of each design up close and personal.
“We are very excited to provide the U.S. design community the opportunity to see the vast lighting portfolio in person and receive educational information about our designs,” said Kent Pedersen, CEO, Louis Poulsen USA. “The Helms Bakery Design Center is an ideal location for us and we are proud to join the prestigious team of brands dedicated to the trade.”
The showroom is planned to open in the spring and will be available to the trade for presentations, meetings, and events. Further details surrounding the opening will be announced at a later date.
