IIDA to Host Panel Discussion at Orgatec

The International Interior Design Association (IIDA) will return to the Orgatec Trade Fair, Oct. 25-29 in Cologne, Germany, to present an engaging panel discussion at the international workplace design conference. The program, “People. Place. Performance. Defining Global Workplace Culture,” will offer attendees a dynamic and informative examination on the topic of the ever-evolving nature of work and how design can support effective work environments and cultures.

Moderated by IIDA executive vice president and CEO Cheryl Durst, Hon. FIIDA, LEED AP, the panel discussion, scheduled for Wed., Oct. 26 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., will feature industry leaders and members of the IIDA International Board of Directors: Scott Hierlinger, FIIDA, LEED AP (design director and co-principal, NELSON); James Kerrigan, IIDA, LEED AP ID+C (design principal of interiors, Jacobs); Marlene M. Liriano, IIDA, LEED AP, ID+C (managing director, IA Interior Architects); and Primo Orpilla, FIIDA (president and co-founder, Studio O+A).

“[A]s a leading show for workplace design, our panel discussion will highlight the evolving demographics and immersive technology that blur the lines between work and life,” Durst said. “We expect a lively conversation that’s both engaging and educational.”
