To help promote the opening of its Manhasset, N.Y., location, Design Within Reach partnered with North Shore Animal League America and The Dogist for its #dogsdaysofsummer countdown to the event via social media.
For the week leading up to the July 20 ribbon cutting celebration, Design Within Reach posted photos of dogs posing on modern chair designs. The pictures were exclusively taken by Elias Weis Friedman, photographer for photo-documentary series The Dogist, which celebrates the natural beauty of dogs.
The grand opening event at the new Design Within Reach location featured photos from the project, formally called “Sit, Dog, Sit” in store, on display alongside chairs for sale. North Shore Animal League was also on site with dogs up for adoption.
