With this joint solution, employees can find a space, book the room, set up catering services, select lighting, control temperature, lower window shades, and bring remote offices into the meeting with the help of video conferencing. Crestron scheduling touch screens outside of the room allow users to instantly view room status, complete bookings, or release the meeting area if unused. Adding the Crestron PinPoint app provides employees with a personal mobile scheduling tool, and contextual information allows them to book spaces based on where they are, meeting goals, and with whom they are working.
To help with time management, meeting rooms are automatically reset for the next group when participants exit. In addition, the Rendezvous software integrates with Microsoft Outlook and Exchange to synchronize with calendars, update staff with meeting details, and alert participants with reminders.
