Create floorplans instantaneously with RoomScan Pro from Locometric. With the tap of an iPhone or iPad against each wall, millions of calculations per second turn data from the device’s sensors into a basic, sharable floorplan with measurements accurate to 10 centimeters or 6 inches. Measurements are available in metric, feet and inches, and East Asian units. The app then adds doors and connects rooms together automatically to form a plan for the entire floor. Measurements can be fine-tuned even further by using the app in conjunction with a laser measure.
The latest version can also scan exteriors and landscapes with the ExteriorScan and PlotScan features. Floorplans can be saved to the camera roll or exported to formats such as PDF or DXF for AutoCAD and SketchUp for a nominal fee. Notes and photos can also be added to floor plans.
RoomScan Pro offers in-app purchases and requires iOS 7.0 or later and is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
