Bill Griese
Bill Griese is involved in the development and revision of ASTM, ANSI, ISO, and other industry standards. Additionally, he works closely with TCNA’s Product Performance Testing Laboratory. Griese served three consecutive terms as Chairman of ASTM Committee C21 on Ceramic Whitewares and Related Products and currently serves as Chairman of ASTM Subcommittee C21.06 on Ceramic Tile. He is also active in ASTM Committee E60 on Sustainability, was previously appointed Chairman of ASTM's regulatory Committee on Technical Committee Operations, and is currently serving on ASTM International’s Board of Directors.
Griese is an active participant in the World Ceramic Tiles Forum and serves as a U.S. delegate in several global tile industry initiatives. Each year, he speaks at events in the U.S. and abroad, and he is a regular author and columnist in several industry publications. Griese is a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) with a specialty in Building Design and Construction. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Ceramic and Materials Engineering from Clemson University in Clemson, SC.
