Krug maintains a program to reduce the impact its products have on the environment. Overall, more than 90 percent of the waste produced by its manufacturing facilities is now being recycled. Additionally, the overall amount of waste being sent to the local landfill has been reduced by more than 70 percent. Krug also recently announced that more than 50 of its seating products are now GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certified® by the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute.
All products in Bentley Prince Street's Saturnia Collection are crafted with a minimum of 50 percent high recycled content nylon. Named for a glorious resort in Tuscany, Saturnia has come to represent so much more than that tiny region. This collection is also available as a Scientific Certification Systems' (SCS) Sustainable Choice Gold/Environmentally Preferable Product under the new Sustainable Carpet Assessment Draft Standard, NSF-140. Rich, robust and recycled, Second-LookTM is the first recycled vinyl wall covering on the market. Three collections in a range of versatile colors, tactile embossed textures and fresh designs include at least 20 percent total recycled content with a minimum of 10 percent post-consumer. New from LSI Wallcovering, the eco-forward fashions of Second-Look have the same aesthetic quality, durability and price as LSI's standard wall coverings.
Durante Furniture's Luxury Green program assures that the woods used in its furniture production—both solids and veneers—are harvested from sustainably managed resources, as certified by Forest Stewardship Council. Beyond sustainable woods, this program uses other environmental materials such as latex foam, recycled Dacron, water borne adhesives, stains and lacquers and, if the designer chooses, sustainable textiles.Erin Adams Design introduces Luna, a new environmentally conscious glass and aluminum tile collection developed in collaboration with Mexico-based Allumillenium Tile. The concept behind Luna is marrying two materials together in a setting that highlights the differences and similarities of each. Luna marks Adams' commitment to Earth's natural landscape by utilizing technologies that limit waste. All aluminum used in Luna is recycled, and the oil used to heat up the metals during production is recycled car oil.
Exemplifying Metro's commitment to environmental sustainability, the Poly family of seating is created through the bonding of non-woven PET (polyethylene terepthalate) fiber and a 100 percent recycled polyester fabric—creating an inventive structural shell that is entirely recyclable. Poly has been certified as a Cradle-to-CradleTM Silver product by MBDC and has also been SCS Indoor AdvantageTM-certified. These third-party certifications may contribute toward earning LEED® points, and support Metro's goal to create products that are safe for human and environmental health. Mayer Fabrics began developing environmentally responsible fabrics under the Eco System® brand in 2001 with the introduction of the Waste Not Collection. Since then, Eco System has been expanded to include a wide range of both panel and upholstery fabrics that are woven with recycled, recyclable or compostable fibers. Mayer's new Ecosphere line (featured), offers small to large-scale designs in an extensive palette of sustainable fabrics constructed from Terratex and antimony-free Eco Intelligent Polyester.
A Vetrazzo countertop has a higher recycled content (85 percent) than most other products on the market; and fly ash is used to replace cement whenever possible. This not only makes Vetrazzo "greener" but also makes for a different visual aesthetic. Vetrazzo uses a wider range of glass piece sizes in a wider variety of colors, so the range of design options goes from very neutral to very bold.Continuing Lees Carpets' longstanding dedication to sustainability, Modern Organics' products are CRI Green Label Plus-certified and recommended adhesives meet the most stringent rules for VOC emissions. Ensuring adherence to the highest environmental standards, the collection is produced in an ISO 14001-certified manufacturing facility. With superior strength against delamination and edge ravel, the durability of Modern Organics ensures that the carpet stays in use and out of the recycling stream longer. Yet, when they reach the end of their useful life, Modern Organics' products can be reclaimed and recycled through Lees' ReCover program.
Evolve Furniture Group has environmental initiatives in place to ensure the protection of precious resources for future generations. Additionally, Evolve has developed a panel interior made from 100 percent recycled wood and polypropylene. Through innovative design and technology, Evolve utilizes waste that would normally have been sent to landfills. The LG EDEN Collection is one of many environmentally friendly products that LG Chem manufactures. Through a sophisticated manufacturing process, LG Chem was able to utilize 12 percent recycled content from previous sheet goods to create the LG EDEN product line. LG Chem has made a significant investment over the past five years in an ongoing attempt to manufacture products that are environmentally friendly: the LG EDEN Collection is a reflection of those efforts.

Durability, cleanability and longevity have all been engineered into Surface IQ. Using only water based inks and coatings, the first Surface IQ collection consists of eight designs, including three signature patterns: Bloom, Mix and Intersect.
