Designtex introduces the Garden Series. From inspiration to conception, these textiles create warm and soothing environments. Designer Jane Wicks created the series based on a need for more high-performance decorative prints in healthcare settings. New from LSI Wallcovering’s Radius Collection, Diaz comes in 19 clean, contemporary color treatments. Hip hatch marks float on a vertical textured background that simulates dimension and sparks visual interest. The edgy embossed, mid-scale pattern is crafted with different metallic patinas that give Diaz an added dash of design. Diaz uses water-based inks, incorporates a mildew-inhibiting agent, and is installed with water-based adhesives.
The Tandus design team introduces a new line with influences that are derived directly from one of the most frequently used stones in modern architecture: travertine. Offered in both carpet tile and broadloom, Tandus’ Travertine is available in 19 colors—from neutrals to coral-red. The line is made with 100 percent Invista type 6/6 nylon fiber. Travertine’s characteristic, and naturally occurring pitted holes and “troughs” express qualities of warmth and craftsmanship.ICF introduces the 800 Collection, designed by the trio of Christian Lepper, Roland Schmidt and Uwe Sommerlade. The collection offers a cantilever chair, which is available with four legs or a swivel base, and three different back heights. A lounge chair with matching foot stool is also offered. The 800 Collection’s seat and back are molded plywood with various elegant veneers and upholstery options. Legs are offered in chromium plated, stainless steel. Herman Miller is enhancing the filing and storage market with Teneo, a charismatic set of products that offer variety and visual harmony to the workplace. Teneo was designed to provide and maintain a consistent aesthetic within open work environments, while creating a unified, yet flexible space. A result of systemic thinking, Teneo products were designed to create a variety of configurations that produce a holistic solution. The core products include single islands, side-by-side islands, presentation units, wall units, individual storage, and surfaces. This systemic concept allows the product to be restructured, yet remain consistent with the surrounding design elements.TOD™ (Training On Demand), the newest tilt/nest training table from Versteel, is the design complement to the Simon® seating line. TOD training tables have the ability to link when in use and then nest for immediate or long-term storage. Integrated, perforated modesty panels, lightweight core tops and four locking dual wheel casters are standard on each table. Designed by Lucci-Orlandini Design, undersurface and integrated legway wire management are featured on every table; optional power can be added to most tables.
