This two-coat process works by applying paint to the second surface or “non-contact surface” of the glass. Two coats (one of color, one of protective paint) create a uniform, perfectly opaque surface of saturated color, and protect the color coat during transport, handling, and installation from scratches, nicks, or pin-holes. Durability is further ensured through an oven heat-curing process.
Color options are limitless due to a computerized intermix color system, which has a database of millions of colors – any of which can be specified from standard color swatches. Additionally, there are 12 stock colors: True Black, True White, Cool Gray, Ruby Red, Bright Blue, Cream, Spice, Sand, Linen, Lime, Dusty Plum, and Ocean.
