To accomplish sustainable design goals and meet energy codes, Litecontrol now has ultrasonic occupancy sensing (CS/us) available for small offices and conference rooms, as well as for stairways and corridors. These control solutions are fixture integrated and provide maximum light only when motion is detected in the space, then reduce power or turn the fixture off when the space is vacant.
For small offices or conference rooms, the CS/us Pendant system provides assurance that the fixture will be switched off when the room is vacant. A fixture-integrated ultrasonic occupancy sensor checks for motion in the room and turns the fixture off when no motion is detected over a certain period of time.
CS/us Wall is an essential part of lighting stairways, stairwells, and corridors safely and efficiently. Implementation of energy-saving technologies in stairwells has been difficult historically. With Litecontrol’s CS/us, lighting levels are maintained at a reduced level when the space is unoccupied and switched to 100 percent when the sensor detects movement. Minimum lighting levels can be maintained while still conserving valuable resources and money. Litecontrol’s CS/us Wall control solution is available in the V3 and Wall Mod fixtures.
