Essentially, Smart Slope offers a replacement for hardscape with landscape – without sacrificing structural capacity to stabilize slopes. As urban development density increases, the need for retaining walls increases. Conventional segmented retaining walls (SRWs) are modular concrete hardscapes offering structural solutions at the expense of environmental and aesthetic considerations.
