Technological advances progressively intertwine with our daily rituals. Living half our lives in the digital world, people are becoming increasingly detached from the physical world. Fast fashion culture and online shopping have drastically changed the landscape of retail clothing. The need for customization, quality, and craft are once again coming to the forefront. The retail environment must embrace online shopping in a way that creates a new retail reality. The future in-store environment will feature immersive brand experiences with interactive software/hardware: 3D accessory printers, interactive OLED walls, event spaces, body scanning changing rooms, robot-assisted storage, lounges, graphic T-shirt printers, and mood altering environments.
