Genesis by Tandus Flooring

Tandus Flooring introduces Genesis, the first flooring fiber to encapsulate a biopolymer in a durable nylon outer layer. Genesis uses the company’s sheath-core technology, which involves wraping a nylon sheath around a biopolymer core to produce a bio-based yarn with the commercial performance and aesthetic attributes of nylon. Genesis is made of 15 percent biopolymer and 85 percent nylon. The biopolymer is completely derived from annually renewable plant sugars from non-food stock.
